In the supernatural thriller The Cell, an F.B.I. Agent recruits the help of a gifted social worker to solve a perplexing case. Using experimental technology, the social worker has the ability to enter the minds of others, making her the ideal candidate for the task at hand.

The Agent's mission is to locate the whereabouts of a kidnapped victim before time runs out.
